Is my Donation Tax Deductible?Absolutely. The Olivia Zonis Foundation is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a Charitable Organzation under 501(c)(3). Back to TopWhy was this foundation established?The Foundation was established in 2002 by the Zonis family in honor and memory of their daughter who was a vibrant, loving 6 years old. She was diagnosed with an inoperable brain stem tumor in December of 2001, and she passed away on June 9, 2002. Her love for life and willingness to help others is what this fund is all about. We are a non-profit organization made up of an all volunteer staff. Our purpose is to help other children and their families who face financial difficulty when faced with this most devastating disease. Back to TopCan I get help for my child?Yes. We value, respect and feel compassion for all children who have to endure this affliction, and all funds go directly to help the children. When children are stricken with diseases, the burden for them is heartbreaking, and often overwhelming. We try to ease that burden in whatever small way we can, and that includes not only financial assistance, but compassion and understanding.
